SEVERSTAL COLUMBUS (USA) ORDERED AUXILIARY EQUIPMENT FOR NEW SECOND 150 TON
In July 2008, Severstal Columbus (former Severcorr) located in Columbus (MS-USA) has reconfirmed MORE as the supplier of auxiliary equipment for their second new 150 ton DC EAF. Severstal Columbus has ordered the carbon pneumatic transportation/injection system for their second Electric Arc Furnace. It includes 4 MOCA carbon dispensers to feed the injectors that will be installed on board of the EAF. MORE will also supply one MOTANK remote controlled slag door ram, to improve safety and operational requirements; MOTANK cart eliminates the need of a manned forklift unit at the furnace.
