This single-line absorption spectroscopy measuring technique is based on the selection of one single absorption line nearby the infrared spectral range for the specific gas. The concentration of the selected element is determined by the quantity of light absorbed at its specific spectral range. Lindarc Real-time laser based Electric Arc Furnace off-gas analysis system

The modern electric arc furnace operation calls for top performances, optimized use of chemical energy, improved safety, reduction in conversion costs and lower emission levels.
To achieve and improve these requirements, a highly accurate and reliable off-gas monitoring system has been developed in collaboration with LINDE AG.

Installation
