Strop (ZMA) EBT TAP Hole cleaning system concept


The STROP is an electric-actuated swiveling and hydraulic-actuated lifting device that performs
the cleaning of the EBT hole, enabling a fast and reliable operation below the furnace without any
manual operation taking place. The manipulator is a “stand alone” piece of equipment that can be
installed on the bottom shell either on the left or on the right side of the EBT tap hole.
The cleaning operation is performed either from the main control room or from a local control
